Today, we’d like to introduce you to Norma Rojas.
Hi Norma, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started creating comedy content to laugh about myself. Being a mom and wife living in the US without any family support, it’s been very hard, but I realized that making these sketches would make me laugh about these challenges and would prompt other people to reach out due to having similar experiences.
Now, I’m exploring new content, as well as lifestyle and skin care themes, and I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple brands.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has been difficult sometimes I got discouraged, but the key was to be constant.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I also have a small business, I do macrame and crochet and macrame things like dolls, tops, pillows and toys. I learned during the pandemic, and it has become one of my favorite hobbies.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am a person who, when he sets his mind to something, does not stop until he achieves it. Another of my goals is to study for a career here in the United States.
