Life & Work with Oscar Fernández

Today we’d like to introduce you to Oscar Fernández. 

Hi Oscar, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started when I was very young I got a job as a camera assistant on a television channel Televen in my country of origin Venezuela, from that moment I fell in love with the Media and the Cameras and all the things I can communicate with it so I decided to study journalism and communication since then I have been preparing myself updating myself with each I equipment each new tool and technique that helps to perfect my work and give my best, I have already been a 23-year career as a photographer and videographer and I’m very happy and proud of it 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Like everything else, I think that we find obstacles along the way just to make ourselves stronger and know that we can always do it with effort and determination I remember that I was working for a channel in Cuarazao where they speak Papiamento, the language made me feel insecure because I almost did not speak it but I did my best effort and successfully achieve the goals of that job 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in Photography and Video I also fly drones audiovisual productions Telling stories with my camera is my specialty I am proud of everything I have achieved all these years of personal and professional career together with my wife and my son, he is my reason for being the engine of my life 

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice is to focus on your own work in your style prepare each day study especially love what you do, do not give up keep going until you achieve each of your goals
