Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffani Haslam-Ramirez.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My name is Tiffani, and I’ve always had a passion for designing. As a child, I loved designing clothes, and during high school, I discovered my love for both interior and fashion design. I pursued fashion classes in college, but soon realized my heart was in social work, as I wanted to help those in need. Despite my passion for social work, I always dreamed of owning my own business and wanted to still be creative. Balancing school and work was challenging, but the idea for an earring business sparked my creativity. I dove into research, designing, and brainstorming, and eventually launched my Etsy shop. Although I work full-time and have limited time to invest in my business, I’ve seen tremendous growth over the past year. I couldn’t be more thrilled to own something I created. Being a business owner is incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my business!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been difficult making time for it with school and working multiple jobs. It’s been a learning curve designing new products, marketing, dealing with licensing, and setting up for markets.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I make and sell a few products, but I mostly love designing and creating resin earrings! My business is unique because of the designs and some earrings are hand painted!

Use social media, reach out to other small business owners, and go to local events!
