Abby & Sam, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Saturday Strides is a running based endurance brand focused on providing fun and intentional pieces for the girls. Best friends and runners Sam and Abby set out to create pieces (aka ruffle running sock!!!) that they wished they had while training for their first marathons. After few exciting conversations and lots of big dreaming, they sealed the deal by putting a girly twist on the traditional high performance running sock.
At Saturday Strides, we believe your active lifestyle shouldn’t compromise comfort or style. Whether you’re pounding the pavement on your morning run, hitting the weights at the gym, cycling through city streets, or simply tackling your daily routine, Saturday Strides are designed to keep pace with your every move.
We launched our “Core Collection” at the beginning of 2025 and had great feedback after selling out two months later! We are now working to restock the ruffle running socks as well as expand our product offerings! We seriously can’t wait for this year filled with new products and meeting the awesome members of our community.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Saturday Strides has truly been built from the ground up by two girls who haven’t had a lot of experience in all the many aspects of building a business. Starting a business means wearing so many different hats including designing the products, working with manufacturers, learning how to build our social media and community, shipping orders, and honestly troubleshooting so many random things on the daily!
This makes for a lot of fun, but also a lot of trying to figure things out as we go. The most helpful things for us have been staying positive, surrounding ourselves with people who give incredible advice, and not taking things too seriously!
Each day, we find ourselves facing something completely new and daunting. But our love for Saturday Strides, our incredible community, and each other truly keep us going as challenges come our way!

Our family, friends, and husbands have been there from day one when we started dreaming big and talked about making Saturday Strides our lives! The time they have spent staying up late and packing orders, doing research, and talking through ideas with us gives us daily confidence to overcome our obstacles.
