Amber Bee’s Honey Butter was proudly established in 2019 as a way to help support my athletic endeavors during high school. Since that time, I have been able to help pay for my religious mission and now use the proceeds to help support my educational endeavors. I have enjoyed learning the ins and outs of running a small business and find great pleasure receiving positive feedback from satisfied customers! As Amber Bee’s Honey Butter grows, I pledge to remain small and friendly to provide the best product on the market today! Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting Amber Bee’s Honey Butter has been full of rewarding moments, but also a lot of late nights, trial and error, and lessons learned the hard way. Figuring out how to scale production while maintaining quality, learning the ins and outs of running a business, and simply keeping up with demand have all been challenges. There were definitely days where I questioned if I could keep up or if it was worth it. But then I’d go to a market, see people’s faces light up when they try the honey butter, or hear that it became part of someone’s family tradition. That makes every struggle worth it

What matters most to me is connection. At the end of the day, that’s what this business is really about, making people feel something. Whether it is a sweet memory from childhood, the joy of gifting something meaningful, or simply slowing down to enjoy a warm piece of toast with someone you love, that’s what drives me!
Of course I care deeply about quality and creativity, but it all comes back to how people feel when they try the honey butter. That emotional connection is what keeps me going on the long days, and it’s what I hope customers take away with them, more than just a container, but a moment.
