Today we’d like to introduce you to Awakening Autumn.
Hi Awakening, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We’re Awakening Autumn! A band/duo based out of Eagle Mountain, Utah. Our names are McKade Wilde (vocals,) and Joey Stetz (drums). We’ve bounced around different bands and line-ups for years before meeting each other, trying to find members who shared our passion to the projects we were in.
What we strive towards the most with Awakening Autumn is to take our worst days, negative thoughts, or insecurities, and air them out for the world to see. Showing that there’s always a reason to keep going, and demonstrating that nobody is alone, and that we’re all growing together. Instead of hiding our pasts or mistakes, we wanna put them on stage. Leading by example that our past doesn’t define us, but what we do with it, and how we grow very well does.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Just the cliché starving artist junk. Not that we’re actually starving, but pursuing a music career is financially strenuous on anybody. Also, moving Joey’s drums is awful!

It’s hard to pin down favorites in general. I will say, love/hate relationship with instagram. I basically get everything from there. I could waste my life there, henceforth hating it.
