Hi Branin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Ever since I was a kid, I loved keeping busy with projects—whether it was making something new or fixing things around the house. As I got older, getting into construction really clicked for me and confirmed that this is who I am. My wife likes to say that I just can’t sit still and always need to be doing something. This trait has taken me far, allowing me to juggle multiple businesses while still working full-time as a Construction Project Manager at a university.
This constant need to be productive has been a big part of my success. I believe in staying active and always pushing myself to grow, which has helped me manage my various ventures. It’s a bit of a balancing act, but I thrive on the challenge and enjoy the dynamic, busy lifestyle that’s gotten me to where I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey hasn’t always been smooth, but I doubt it ever is for anyone. There are always obstacles, whether it’s struggling to secure funding for a business or finding enough time to spend with family—something always seems to get in the way. Running multiple businesses comes with its fair share of highs and lows.
I launched my first business in November 2019, and as we all know, the world turned upside down in the spring of 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges that tested every ounce of resilience and adaptability I had. Navigating through that period required creativity, flexibility, and a lot of hard work.
Despite these hurdles, the experiences have been incredibly rewarding. Every setback has been a learning opportunity, teaching me valuable lessons about perseverance, problem-solving, and the importance of staying adaptable in the face of change. Balancing my professional responsibilities and personal life is a constant challenge, but it’s also what drives me to keep pushing forward.
Through it all, I’ve learned that the key to success lies in maintaining a positive outlook and being willing to adapt. While the road may be bumpy, it’s these very challenges that shape our journey and make the successes all the more meaningful.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My family has been my biggest support system, particularly my wife, who has always believed in my vision and encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Her understanding and patience have been crucial, especially during the challenging times when balancing multiple businesses and family life seemed overwhelming.
I have also been very fortunate to work under some great mentors in my professional life who have helped guide me and shape my career from swinging a shovel to now more of an administrative role.
Having people who believe in you and offer guidance when needed is one of the most valuable assets any professional can have.
