Hi BreeAnn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first fell in love with physical therapy in high school when I took anatomy and physiology classes. I quickly learned that the typical medical fields would not be for me as I did not do well around blood.into my calling in life. Enter physical therapy. When I found this field, I knew it was the one for me. I could learn all about the body and how it functioned with a very minimal amounts of blood. After attending PT school university of Utah and graduating in 2007, I explored many specialties within the field. I gained expertise in pediatrics, orthopedics, and spine therapy. Through this journey that was guided and found my true calling in life: public for physical therapy. I’ve been practicing within this field and growing my education and specialty over the last 15 years. About three years ago, I realized my current job situation was not providing the life I desired or allowing me to provide the best quality of care. Luna Physio was born and now has been my passion project for the last 3 years. I love being able to provide care outside of the traditional medical system, including insurance. There are no limitations and we can do what is exactly best for their clients. We can spend one-on-one time with them and continue to pursue excellence our goal to get to the root of the problem and not just simply treat symptoms.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Anyone who has opened the business will tell you it’s not always a smooth road. Owning a business has challenged me in more ways than I can express. I faced my own demons, addressed fears head on, solved problems that I never thought I’d be facing, and strive everyday to make things better for those in my care: employee and patient alike. It has challenged me and elevated who I am.

Luna Physio is a boutique pelvic floor physical therapy clinic. We work outside the constraints of insurance to provide clients with the exact care they need. We work for our clients NOT for a system or insurance company. We are experts in our field with yearly education to provide cutting edge personalized care. We get to the root cause of an issue rather than just treating symptoms.
How do you define success?
Success is achieved when our clients achieve their goals. Seeing them reclaim their lives is so rewarding! Also having our business give back to the community and thrive in its own right.
