Meet Cinthya of Cinthya Molina-State Farm Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cinthya.

Hi Cinthya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I opened up my agency on August 1, 2019. Before launching it, I spent three and a half years working with another agent, gaining the experience and knowledge that helped prepare me for this next step. Insurance was never something I envisioned for my future and when I was first given the opportunity to enter the industry, I didn’t realize how much it would shape my career or the opportunities it would bring for my family and my team. Starting from “square one,” I learned the fundamentals from the ground up, and along the way, I came to truly understand the value of having a trusted and involved agent.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I took over for an agent who had been with State Farm for 30+ years, the transition wasn’t without challenges. The first few months required a real adjustment, but it helped us grow while learning how to navigate differences, strengthen our approach, and ultimately improve how we serve our customers.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Today, we are a trilingual office serving our community in Spanish, English and ASL. Our mission is education and support every day, we take the time to put ourselves in our customers’ shoes, and we work to ensure every interaction is positive, clear, and reassuring. We focus on risk assessment and guidance to help you choose coverage that fits your real budget, not just a quote. Whether you are a first time insurance buyer or reviewing your current policies, our team takes the time to explain your options clearly and confidently. Our goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and fully confident in every decision. Giving back is part of who we are. We regularly volunteer, sponsor community events and local teams, and host educational workshops so our neighbors have the knowledge and confidence they need.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
I wish I had led with more confidence when I first started. Even when I knew what I was doing, starting something new can be nerve wracking and overwhelming. If I could offer advice to any new business owner, I would say: trust your abilities, fully leverage the resources available to you, and be intentional when building your team. Choose people who complement your strengths and fill the gaps, that will help create a strong, effective team.
