Hi DeeAnna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in the southern California area when I was 18 as a PR rep assistant or modeling agencies!
It was very glamorous, fast paced & very fun. I found myself very interested in taking the photos and videos, helping promote the brands that she was working with. Writing the advertising campaigns for magazines & PR companies.
I branched out and started my own company around 21!
I’ve been in the industry ever since with my own distribution companies magazines. I now run just strictly digital media do content creation, social media management, PR campaigns for brands & here we are!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No lots of transitions because of the world it went from being a Print friendly world to a digital media world, so I’ve had to completely change my business models learn all new elements of digital that I had never been in before literally rebrand myself several times and figure out how to fit into that world.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I started Industry Karma in 2012. I got scammed by a marketing and digital media company. After a big loss of money, I just decided I’ve been in this business long enough.
I know how to build brands, create logos, building marketing campaigns, how to do PR with Advertising & Marketing! Really it’s what I’ve done my entire life, is help others grow their companies and brand!
I then knew I wanted to help other businesses grow and have somebody they could rely on to work hard with and kind of be the Karma in digital media for all types of industries & brands!
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Just go for it don’t let anything hold you back. I’m sure they’ll be plenty of reasons to not remind yourself of all the reasons to do it. Go after it. Live your dreams. Don’t work for anyone else. Enjoy your life.
