Hi Donald, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been passionate about the Criminal Justice System in our State of Utah. In my early twenties, I have met my wife and we started a family together. At that point, as a newly wed couple, the goal was to just provide for the family. I completed a program in Ogden tech college and started working in the field . Due to some unfortunate events and a physical harm I experienced, experienced, I had to choose what path I should take. As a family, we decided that I need to pursue my passion and I enrolled in Weber State University in August 2018. I started working for a private probation agency, I was going to school to obtain my Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. I was gaining experience in the field, and completed my degree in April 2022. I continued working for the agency , however, building a reputation for myself, In October 2023, receiving the support of my family , and the support from various lawyers, agencies in the community , and court personnel, I was encouraged to open doors of my own Private Probation Agency. And that is how it all started……
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
From a personal perspective, absolutely no- sacrifices, schooling and work , raising a family – it was endless and sleepless years of pressing through.
From the professional realm, establishing a business , disassociating from the prior agency i worked for ( which is a direct competitor of my business now ) , representing clients in the court, dealing with clients who are not happy with their situation , clients who do not pay and the constant battle with non-compliance, the list can go on and on.

Intro about me: My name is Donald Beard . I have been a licensed Private Probation Provider since 2021. I have 5+ years of experience in the industry.

I offer 14+ panels drug testing , EtG ( alcohol testing ) and I also offer Fentanyl testing. I also have the ability to run more elaborate THC (marijuana) testing that shows the levels of the drug in the client’s system.
I also pride myself in helping clients gain and sustain better employment. I give them recommendations on job fairs in the area and help them with fixing their resume and doing mock interviews to prepare them for obtaining a career.
I pride myself in offering exceptional quality of service, immediate reporting to the courts, and cheapest prices within the industry.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Be prepared to adjust the course of action you are taking, It is a constant change of documents, procedures practices. Be ready to learn what works and have an open mind to understand what does not work. Take that as a learning lesson and be proactive in seeking other’s opinions to ensure you are up to date!
