Why Did I Start Scented Hope?
It all began with a simple thought: What if every drive could start with a breath of fresh air, physically and spiritually?
We wanted something more than just a great-smelling car. We wanted daily encouragement, words that would uplift, remind, and strengthen us in our faith.
So, we created Scented Hope: a way to bring
God’s promises into everyday life through the power of scent.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of the most beautiful parts of starting Scented Hope has been the overwhelming support I’ve received. Friends, family, and even strangers in the community have shown up in ways I didn’t expect—sharing, encouraging, praying, and purchasing. I’ve also had the blessing of working with influencers who believed in the mission so much that they posted about it for free. That kind of genuine support has meant everything to me.
But it hasn’t all been easy. One of the biggest challenges has been finding consistency in sales. Launching a faith-based product means trusting that the right people will connect with it at the right time—but waiting and building momentum can be tough. Still, I’m learning to stay faithful in the slow seasons, knowing that God is always working behind the scenes.
