Today we’d like to introduce you to Johnathan Timpke.
Johnathan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
“Wood Working and building is my passion. I come from a family full of construction workers who taught me carpentry skills all my life. I worked construction in California until moving to Cache Valley in August of 2019. Once here I worked two jobs to get settled. However, I always had a desire to start my own construction company and in April of 2021, I left my jobs and transitioned to TWS Carpentry and Remodel LLC full time.
I had always done work for family and friends, now I am able to use my carpentry and building skills as a licensed contractor for my career. I have a great team of employees that work with me on jobs and allow us to get work done quickly and at the highest quality. I love my home here in Cache Valley and love getting to know and work with so many people who live here as well!”
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We’ve definetely had some struggles along the way. Things such as finding the right guys to work with us or finding enough work to keep busy through the winters are probably the main two struggles we still deal with.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
TWS Carpentry and Remodel LLC officially became a company in April of 2021. We are licensed and insured in Utah and Idaho. Located in Logan Utah, the company primarily services all of Cache Valley but also does work in all parts of Northern Utah and Southern Idaho. The focus of TWS is carpentry/finish work, partial/full home remodels, and general contracting. Most of our work involves in installing doors and windows in new or existing homes, it‘’a what we are best and most efficient at. We are proud to stand behind our honesty, integrity, and craftsmanship in all of our projects
How do you think about happiness?
What makes me happy in my personal life is my family. What makes me happy in business is being able to help people by bringing them a quality product and a professional installation. I love to work hard and take a lot of pride in what I do and the work we put out into peoples homes.
