Today we’d like to introduce you to Juan Brito.
Hi Juan, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My Name is Juan Brito. I am a 21-year-old Puerto Rican, artist developing my music in Utah. I go as “Juanton” on my music and all my socials. I started freestyling and doing my version of Spanish songs when I was 14 years old, inspired by my older brother, that used to freestyle when he was that age too. After a year into freestyling my brother brought me an idea for a song and the people to make it happen so I went with it. By that same time, I went through heartbreak and casually the song Idea was about moving on from a relationship so I was really inspired at that moment. After that, I became a solo artist. having released around 12 singles now trying to solidify my movement XLAFAMXLOSMIOS thru music in the Latin Urban industry.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like everything in life, theres a lot of highs and lows that come into this specially when trying to be outstanding and come up with new ways to express what youre feeling. Theres been a lot of happy moments along the way and a lot of depression moments along the way but haven’t regret a single part since it has made me what I am today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Im a Puertorican Singer and Artist named “Juanton”, specialized in the reggaeton music genre, mostly known for my spanish version of Ckay’s “Love Nwantiti” called “Paris” and my latest release “BLK II”. What makes me most proud of myself its the way I present to myself to people since im often described as humble and very outgoing and friendly and thats something that fills my heart and makes me proud. What I feel sets me apart from mos others in this industry is the creative side of my work and the effort put into every single project so much for the recording side as of from the creative side. I feel like the line im being drawn into and what Im doing can get me to a place where I’ll stand out eventually and work will pay off.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The most important thing i’ve learned in this business with time its mostly to put quality over quantity and how patient you must be and trustful that whats being done will be worth it no matter how long it takes and that if you dont really enjoy the process and whats being does its hard for it to progress because the most important thing to always do its to pour love into the work.
