Hi Karalynne, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Over 15 years ago, I faced a critical moment in my battle with severe depression, which ultimately changed the course of my life. That moment became a catalyst for change, driving me to commit to a healthier lifestyle and eliminate toxins from my family’s diet and daily routines. Determined to heal, I searched tirelessly for solutions beyond medication. After years of seeking answers, I found a doctor who encouraged me to address the root causes of my struggle—focusing on gut health, inflammation, hormones, and more. Through dedicated work, lifestyle adjustments, and toxin reduction, I was able to reclaim my health and transform my life and my family’s future.
My journey inspired me to share my story and educate others about the benefits of natural, non-toxic living. Motivated by the lack of safe and effective products, I founded Just Ingredients in 2019, starting with a natural, non-toxic deodorant. Since then, the brand has expanded to include protein powders, supplements, and personal care products, all crafted with carefully selected, wholesome ingredients.
Today, Just Ingredients not only offers these products but also educates families on how to make healthier choices that promote long-term wellness. From launching a podcast to growing a successful business, I’ve discovered that life’s biggest challenges often pave the way for profound personal and professional growth. By sharing my journey, I hope to inspire others to embrace healing, prioritize their health, and live a more vibrant, fulfilling life.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road! Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve faced my share of challenges along the way. Balancing the demands of building a business while raising six kids was and is a constant juggling act—one that requires prioritizing time and energy in ways I never imagined.
Another significant challenge was developing high-quality formulas that met our strict ingredient standards. It wasn’t just about avoiding harmful ingredients—it was about finding suppliers we could trust, sourcing the best ingredients available, and creating products that not only worked, but also tasted or smelled amazing. The process involved months of trial and error, requiring patience and persistence to get everything just right.
Helping people understand the unique benefits of our products proved to be a challenge, especially as they transitioned from what they were accustomed to. For example, switching from an aluminum-based deodorant to a magnesium one can take time for the body to adjust and detox, which often raised questions. Similarly, our protein powders, electrolytes, and other products don’t contain synthetic emulsifiers, so they may take a little longer to dissolve in liquid—but that’s because we believe in using real, whole ingredients.
Stepping out of my comfort zone was another hurdle. Whether it was starting a podcast, sharing my story publicly, or learning to lead and grow a team, each new phase came with a steep learning curve. Overcoming fear and self-doubt was a continuous process, but it has been worth it every step of the way.

At Just Ingredients, we specialize in non-toxic products that support a range of health needs, from hormone balance and energy to mental health and stress management.
I’m incredibly proud of many aspects of this business—whether it’s the products we develop, the amazing team I’ve built, or the trust we’ve earned within our community. Hearing firsthand how our products have positively impacted people’s health and well-being is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. It’s this feedback that drives everything we do and motivates us to continue providing solutions that support healthier lifestyles.
What sets us apart is how our products differ from others available on the market. For example, our Creatine+ is made with one of the purest forms of creatine and enriched with fulvic acid to enhance absorption. Our protein powder combines 4-5 different sources of protein for better absorption and easier digestion. For one of those protein sources, we use the highest-quality 100% grass-fed whey protein imported from New Zealand. We also stand out with our collagen peptides, which are flavored with real fruit and enriched with grape seed and pine bark extract for improved absorption and effectiveness. These examples of our thoughtfully–curated formulas are just a few ways that demonstrate we select each and every ingredient to serve a purpose, all while ensuring every product exceeds our high standards. What does success mean to you?
I define success as creating a meaningful impact on the lives of others while staying true to our core values: Family first, honesty, education, kindness, and communication. At Just Ingredients, success isn’t just about growing a business; it’s about building something that aligns with these principles.
For me, family first means ensuring that everything we create supports families in prioritizing their health and well-being. It’s about making choices that reflect what I would want for my family and sharing and creating products I wholeheartedly believe in.
Honesty is the foundation of trust, and success means being transparent in everything we do—whether it’s sharing our ingredient lists, our product development process, or rigorously testing our products and ingredients.
Education is a cornerstone of our mission. I believe success is achieved by offering great products and empowering people with the knowledge to make informed, healthier choices for themselves and their families.
Kindness drives how we approach our community and our work. In supporting our customers, mentoring others, or giving back, we measure success by how we treat those around us.
