My journey began in Ahmedabad, India, where I grew up with a deep passion for strategy, leadership, and business growth. Taking a leap of faith, I moved to the United States to build my career, bringing along a strong work ethic, a global perspective, and a drive to make a meaningful impact.
As I spent years working across the business landscape, I noticed a consistent challenge faced by organizations of all sizes: turning strategic ambition into sustainable execution. To bridge that gap, I founded The Catalyst Business Development Consulting LLC. My goal was simple yet focused to help businesses accelerate growth, optimize operations, and unlock their full potential through strategic clarity.
As my business grew in Salt Lake City, I felt a strong responsibility to give back to the community that welcomed me. That drive led me into civic leadership, where I now serve on the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Business Advisory Board and the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce President’s Ambassador Board.
Looking back from where I started in Ahmedabad to serving in city leadership today, the common thread throughout my life has been acting as a catalyst fostering meaningful connections, empowering business owners, and supporting economic growth across Utah.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all, and I wouldn’t want it to be. The challenges have been my best teachers.
My journey involved two primary struggles:
a) Building from the ground up: Moving from India to the U.S. meant leaving my comfort zone behind and starting from scratch. I had to navigate cultural shifts and intentionally build a professional network without established local ties.
b) Earning trust as an entrepreneur: Launching The Catalyst Business Development Consulting LLC meant proving to business owners that a boutique firm could drive real, measurable ROI for them. Gaining that initial traction required grit, continuous learning, and unrelenting execution.
Balancing the demands of growing a firm while dedicating time to civic roles requires disciplined focus. But every hardship along the way reinforced my core mission: helping businesses build resilience and grow with intent.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up in Ahmedabad, India, I was the kid who was endlessly curious about how the world around me worked. Gujarat is a region famous for its hustle and entrepreneurial spirit, and even as a young boy, that culture deeply influenced me. I didn’t just look at local shops or neighborhood businesses, I wanted to understand how they functioned, how trust was built with customers, and what separated success from failure.
Personality-wise, I was a mix of an observant analyst and a natural connector. I was the child constantly asking ‘why’ and ‘how.’ At the same time, I loved being around people. Whether it was organizing neighborhood games, taking on leadership roles in school activities, or bringing friends together for a common project, I naturally fell into the role of a facilitator, someone who could bring energy, structure, and direction to a group.
My interests always revolved around strategy, problem-solving, and exploring new ideas. I loved activities that required critical thinking, learning about different cultures, and understanding what motivated people. Looking back, those early years in Ahmedabad planted the seeds for everything I do today. The innate curiosity, strategic mindset, and desire to connect people were already there, I’ve just applied them on a larger scale as an adult.
