Meet Monica Tuttle of I’m an agent at XFACTOR Real Estate

Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Tuttle.

Hi Monica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up in Denver, Colorado, and made my way to Utah to attend Brigham Young University. Since then, I’ve had the chance to live and travel all over the world, including time in Spain, Mexico, Italy, and Australia. My career actually started in tech sales, and about four years ago I transitioned into real estate — a move that’s been so much more conducive to my family life than tech and software sales ever were.

I met my husband in 2011, and we’ve been married for almost eleven years now, raising four kids together. Today, I specialize in helping families relocate to Utah from out of state, and I work across the board with sellers, buyers, investors, and relocators.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest obstacle for me has always been balancing work and family life. My family has always been my number one priority, but I’ll be honest — raising four small kids, being a hands-on parent, and building a career all at once is not easy. Thankfully, I have the most supportive husband, and my career simply wouldn’t be possible without him. We work together and make a great team. We’ve both had to learn how to balance family and work, but what we’ve found is that when we prioritize our kids first, our careers actually find the most success too.

As you know, we’re big fans of I’m an agent at XFACTOR Real Estate . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Many people are still moving to Utah because it’s such a desirable place to live — we have a strong economy and incredible outdoor recreation. But the problem is that a lot of people move here without a trusted advisor to help them navigate the real estate market. It’s not just about picking a county; it comes down to the city and even the specific neighborhood. I’ve built my business around helping families figure out the best location for their lifestyle, and it’s become a real niche for me — including working with a lot of physicians who are relocating after finishing residency or taking new jobs in Utah.

I specialize in helping people navigate competitive markets in the most popular suburbs across Salt Lake County, Utah County, and Wasatch County. When you’re not yet in Utah, you need someone who’s boots on the ground, watching the market like a hawk, to make sure we find the right location — and then the right home within that location.

I also work with a lot of locals here in Utah, helping them navigate the market as their needs change — whether that’s selling to move up into their next home or downsizing as they enter a new stage of life.

My clients tell me that my willingness to go scout out homes they’re interested in, and really educate them on those neighborhoods, has been an incredible value-add. That’s the piece I’m most proud of — I’m not just helping people buy a house, I’m helping them find the right place to build their life.

What matters most to you?
Since I’m a mom of four, I understand the dynamics of family life and the complexity that goes into a decision like moving — whether that’s across the country or across town. Moving is a big deal for a family, and you need someone who’s going to look out for you and truly understand the nuances of moving with kids. That goes into everything: the house, the neighborhood, the sports clubs, the schools, all of it.

I really want people to know they can trust me — as a mom — to help them make the right decision for their household, and to have a trusted expert in their corner as they navigate this, especially when they’re doing it from afar.
