We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not. There have been ups and downs in the market. There have been big investments in people who end up leaving which always hurts. Other competitors say negative things at the beginning of all the reasons why you would fail.
As you know, we’re big fans of Novation Title. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a title insurance company within the real estate world. We are the neutral party between consumers who purchase, sell, or refinance a property and everyone else throughout the transaction. We explain all of the necessary documents at the time of signing, hold the fiduciary duties to the transaction & insure the history of the title to the property.
Two of the biggest things that set us apart are 1. Our closing experience is like nowhere else. We create an unforgettable experience that our industry has never seen before. We even pop confetti cannons and although some other title companies have now implemented this idea, it’s not only about the cannon. It’s about the holistic experience that is not duplicatable. What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Always building leaders. The team can not have a leader on site.
Also not firing the wrong person fast enough.
