Meet Richie T. Steadman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Richie T. Steadman.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I used to work for the radio station X96 and someone who listened asked me to be their wedding DJ. I had never done it before, but my friend/college roommate Rob Ferre had. He said, “quote them a price that you don’t think they will pay and then if they pay it – just learn how to do it.”

They met my price. So I began the journey of learning to DJ.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It’s not been smooth. Balancing a DJ side business and a full-time (and then some) job has been cumbersome.

Additionally, when covid hit, it completely annihilated my business and opportunity to make money.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I make great parties the best by providing music, emcee, and energy found nowhere else in the space.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
