Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Bryson.
Hi Samantha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, hello! My name is Samantha, also known as Coach Sambry (I say it “Sam-BREE,” but really, it’s just my name: Coach Sam-antha Bry-son). I help people trust themselves again. I guide them to stop being so critical of themselves so they can enjoy life more fully and trust their intuition. That’s exactly how I ended up in Utah… following my gut… and I met my husband a week after moving!
Back in 2008, I was living in Portland, OR, working three jobs and feeling restless. I was given a choice: lose my main job or move to the corporate office in Orem. I gave everyone in my life a week’s notice, packed up what would fit in my Jeep Grand Cherokee, and drove to Utah County. I had no idea what would come next, but I knew I had to follow my intuition. A week later, I met my husband. As I walked toward him for the first time, I knew he was the man I would marry. I hadn’t believed in love at first sight… until that moment.
Today, we have a house, two cars, two daughters, two dogs, and a cat. We’re known as the “Halloween house” on our block. That’s a title we take very seriously. My little family has been the driving force behind my growth. They teach me reflection and intentional living every single day.
Growing up, I used to get in trouble for talking too much and asking questions… now that’s how I make a living! I’ve always dreamed of being the female Mike Rowe, exploring the less-dirty jobs people do and learning their stories. In a sense, I’ve done a little bit of that. I’ve held jobs across many industries—from pastries to construction administration, guiding hikes to scrapbooking. I’ve had 30 jobs and started 9 businesses in the last 20 years. Each experience taught me something new about myself, people, and the world of business.
My mission is simple: I want people to live lives they love by tapping into their strengths, so fulfillment replaces burnout while spreading joy and kindness along the way. I believe when you get clear on your passion and purpose, you don’t just change your life. You spark ripple effects that change the lives around you. That’s the work I love to do! Helping you trust yourself, align with your path, and create a life you don’t want to escape from.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not—it’s been anything but smooth. There have been days I wanted to quit, but then I’d remind myself that working for someone else wasn’t working either. That perspective kept me moving forward.
One of the toughest lessons has been realizing that not everyone will cheer for you. You lose people along the way, and that hurts. You also find the right people who will push you toward your goals and help accelerate your success.
Entrepreneurship has a way of holding up a mirror. Your business will reflect who you are, which means it will bring your deepest fears and insecurities to the surface. For me, facing those inner battles has been far harder than learning any business strategy or technical skill.
Those challenges forced me to grow in ways I never imagined. They’re the reason I do this work now. I know what it feels like to be stuck in self-doubt, spinning in chaos, wondering if you should give up. And I also know what it feels like to push through and find momentum on the other side. That’s what inspired me to build a business that helps others do the same.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is built around one core mission: helping entrepreneurs and professionals break free from overwhelm, self-doubt, and internal chaos so they can design a life and business that actually fits them. At the end of the day, it’s not about forcing yourself into a box. It’s about uncovering who you are, how you operate, and creating systems that match your energy, strengths, and purpose. When you’re in alignment with your purpose, your work becomes magnetic, fulfilling, and sustainable. It stops being about grinding just to get by, and starts being about building something that feels like you.
That’s why I’ve created signature offerings like Clarity Codes, my self-led program that helps entrepreneurs uncover their natural strengths, clear mental blocks, and map a path forward. There’s also the Focused Up Collective, where we pair Clarity Codes with a supportive community so you have both the tools and the encouragement to stay in momentum. And for those who want a highly personalized starting point, I offer a Clarity Report—a detailed assessment that pinpoints exactly where you are, what’s holding you back, and the next aligned steps.
What makes me most proud isn’t just the programs I’ve created. It’s the brand I’ve built around honesty, empowerment, and real human connection. My clients know they don’t have to “have it all together” when they come to me. They can bring their messy, authentic selves to the table and still leave with clarity, confidence, and a plan. Through my coaching, workshops, and programs, I’ve had the privilege of helping more than 500 entrepreneurs start and scale businesses they love, and we’re doing it without burnout.
If there’s one thing I want readers to know, it’s this: I’m not here to push hustle culture or cookie-cutter models. I’m here to help you align with your purpose so you can fall in love with your work, your process, and yourself again. Because when you do, success stops being a sacrifice and starts becoming a natural ripple effect of living in alignment.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is selling beef jerky sticks and World’s Finest Chocolate candy bars to raise money for Disneyland. That trip was so special to my family—it was the main vacation we looked forward to year after year. My dad asked his coworkers, my mom asked hers, and even my grandparents rallied their friends and neighbors. It seemed like everyone was pitching in. I can still remember the excitement of counting our sales, the smell of the candy and jerky, and the thrill of seeing all our hard work pay off.
The best part wasn’t the money we raised. It was the teamwork and energy behind it. I loved being part of something bigger than myself. It lit me up even at a young age learning how to organize, sell, and connect with people. The memories of the laughter, the rides, and the joy of accomplishing something together have stayed with me ever since.
Looking back, that experience was more than just a fundraiser. It was the very start of my journey into entrepreneurship, planting the seed that hard work mixed with purpose creates magic. It showed me how rewarding it is to chase something meaningful and bring people along for the ride. Those lessons still shape the way I approach business and life today.
