Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheri Taylor.
Hi Sheri, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My name is Sheri Taylor International certified life coach, and fitness and nutrition consultant. I will take you on a God-centered journey to healing traumas in your life from sexual traumas such as rape recovery, trafficking recovery, and Domestic violence. As for me, I am an overcomer of all these things through Christ Jesus my Savior. MY techniques were inspired and gifted to me through God and a Christian friend who was in charge of a prayer group, her name was Barbara she has since passed.
My healing journey begins with Jesus Christ. I have since been inspired to not hide in shame since God has healed me, but to bring his message to you of healing and hope that this is for everyone who has been hurt by sexual trauma. So if you have mountains of trauma in your life know that with the faith of a mustard seed, you can move that mountain or mountains. There is nothing too much for God to do for you if you have the willingness to change, and the desire to be healed. All you need to do is ask and communicate with God and remember that Jesus already won the victory for you through his atoning sacrifice and overcoming the cross.
He did this for you. So don’t live in the lie that you have to keep this trauma to yourself when you can let it go and allow Jesus to heal your life! Pray for all those who are listening. If you’d like to know more you can reach me at coachsheritaylor@gmail.com, you can also follow my Instagram pages at @coachsheritaylor because the whole person matters…And remember we can do this together.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My challenge was knowing I was inspired and called to be a life coach and to play it forward and now is the time to give back what was given to me and to teach others how to receive healing and to be set free. I battled my thoughts like, How?
I prayed, and an ad for Salt Lake City Community College popped up for life coaching. And I took it, overcoming the challenges of thoughts about being old or not good enough. I passed with 100% and am moving forward with inspiration from God with no doubt who this is from.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
In life coaching, I desire to educate and help women in my community or online to get through their trauma and give them hope in overcoming them.
Turning Traumas into triumphs. Guiding them into victory to overcome the victim mentality. And to take charge of their life!
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Not being fearful of the unknown.
And forgive those who have hurt me so I don’t hold them captive in my mind and life-giving them power. over me, But taking my power back and turning them over to God and receiving the gift to be free.
