Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendhy Jeffers.
Hi Wendhy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I originally went to college to pursue a degree in Finance, but during my freshman year I took an intro to photography class and I was hooked. I ended up graduating with a degree in Commercial Photography and Business. Photography gave me an outlet to really embrace my creative side, and I went on to run a portrait photography studio in Las Vegas for almost 10 years.
Like most small business owners, I wore a lot of hats, taking care of clients while also handling all the behind-the-scenes details it takes to keep a business running. That’s where I picked up so much of my entrepreneurial experience. And along the way, I started taking different classes and courses to learn more about website design, marketing, and SEO. That’s when I realized how much I enjoyed that side of things, and it’s really where my passion for digital marketing and web design began.
When my son was born with spina bifida, our lives shifted dramatically. We were traveling frequently to Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City for surgeries, equipment, and follow-up care. After three years, we made the difficult decision to move to Utah to be closer to his doctors and to provide my son with a better quality of life. Closing my photography studio was not an easy choice, but at that stage of life, it was the best thing for my son’s well-being.
Once we found our rhythm with that “new normal,” I slowly started easing back into work by joining a friend’s marketing agency. That gave me the chance to sharpen my skills even more and see firsthand how much of an impact strong marketing can have for small businesses. And that’s when I realized….I had the small business experience, I had the marketing skills, and I wanted to build something of my own.
Starting my own digital marketing agency allowed me to combine all of that. I also wanted something flexible, something I could do from home, while still being there for my son. And to this day, every time I get to design a website for a client, it lights up my creative side all over again.
That’s what led me to where I am today. What drives me is pretty simple. I know from experience how important it is for small business owners to have a strong online presence and to keep that phone ringing. Helping them grow and reach their goals is not just rewarding, it genuinely makes me happy.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. But I’ve always believed that the things worth having are the things worth working for. Between raising a child with special needs and keeping up with the ever-changing world of marketing, starting this business, compared to my photography business, definitely came with extra bumps in the road.
One of my favorite quotes is from James Clear: “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” That really resonated with me. So once I was ready to grow my business, putting strong systems in place and building a solid team became my top priorities.
Of course, that didn’t come without growing pains, but I learned so much along the way. Today, I’m a huge believer in having good systems and training your team for success. I’m lucky to have an AMAZING admin assistant who helps keep everything running smoothly so I can focus on other aspects of the business.

Every day, my son shows me what true strength and determination look like. He’s the reason I do everything I do. My family is my world, and they are what matters most. My son is my “why.” I want to give him more than I had growing up and provide him with the best quality of life possible. Watching him work twice as hard as anyone else just to do everyday things inspires me to keep pushing myself to do better and to be better.
I truly believe that any business can succeed if you know your “why.” It’s what lights a fire inside you and keeps you moving forward, even when things get hard. Without it, there’s no real drive to reach your goals.
