Today we’d like to introduce you to Alia Reedy.
Hi Alia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been a sensitive soul. I started serving others in many capacities throughout my commute at a young age. With my father as an internationally renowned surgeon, and my mother was an intensive care nurse, my expansive knowledge and concern for others was fostered very early. With specific certifications along my path in anatomy, physiology, massage therapy, personal training, biology, functional movement therapy, plant medicine, and others; I have blossomed into an Integral Healer; assisting others to achieve overall wellness. I hold a national certification for Personal Training with an emphasis on weight loss. I teach others about their 4 quadrants of overall wellness; physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
During my recent divorce and battle with cancer, I had my powerful “spiritual awakening”, and many gifts were activated that further evolved my offerings. Helping myself and others heal past, present, and future experiences manifested into powerful passion and purpose! Beautiful seeds of personal inner growth have been nurtured and are now intertwined with assisting other souls in their growth.
I currently serve as an Intuitive Interpreter, Shamanic Guide, Sound and Cacao Ceremonialist, and Bodywork Specialist. I beautifully integrate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness to those that desire healing and growth along their journey.
Among this and more, my greatest rewards are my 3 amazing children. I spend ample time with Mother Earth via hiking my favorite trails, and I love the sound of the ocean wave where I grew up in Southern California!
I currently reside in Utah and continue to plant many seeds of service and love along the way!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I like to look at hardships more like diversity. This path we have chosen to walk to learn, grow, and expand our soul isn’t always “smooth”, so I choose to always remember that we grow most from our experiences. Some of my personal struggles started early being very young and witnessing many forms of abuse in my home, becoming independent at a very young age, learning to balance full-time school and work, recovering from paralysis, being a single mom, and getting through a difficult divorce while going through cancer. Experiencing difficulties has cultivated more compassion, forgiveness, and relatability in me for others.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I sometimes call myself a “Jack of all trades, and a Master of some.” My practice addresses overall wellness. I serve as a bodywork specialist. I assist others with proper mechanics and physical health. I also help assist others with faith transition, cognitive perspective, and spiritual development. I educate and advocate for natural plant alternatives to support happy and healthy healing. I offer several modalities in my practice depending on clients’ personal goals and interests. I am most known for my wisdom, compassion, energy and integrity. My personal dedication to continued education, continued self improvement, and studies set me apart.
Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I love to create new possibilities privately and in group collaborations. I offer everything from private support calls and exercise sessions for individuals to large group ceremonies. I bring all the things to our experience from visual imagery, guided meditation and aromatherapy to guided hikes, drum healing, and dancing! As we work on ourselves to improve our well-being, we help others rise as well!
