Rising Stars: Meet Aude Gorre of Other

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aude Gorre.

Hi Aude, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m a history and geography teacher based in Paris, France, with a passion for travel, culture, fashion, and storytelling. I started sharing my experiences on social media as a creative outlet and a way to document my adventures around the world. Over time, what began as a personal hobby grew into a community of people who share my love for discovering new places, learning about different cultures, and finding beauty in everyday moments.
Today, I create content focused on travel, lifestyle, fashion, and cultural experiences, with a particular emphasis on inspiring others to explore the world with curiosity and style. Balancing my career in education with content creation has allowed me to combine my passion for learning, history, and travel while connecting with people from all over the world.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not entirely. One of the biggest challenges has been balancing my career as a teacher with content creation. Teaching is a profession that requires a lot of time, energy, and dedication, so building a presence on social media had to happen alongside my professional responsibilities.
Another challenge was finding my own voice and style. At first, I experimented with different types of content before discovering what truly reflected my personality and interests. Growth on social media rarely happens overnight, and there were times when progress felt slow. However, consistency, passion, and authenticity helped me keep going.
Looking back, those challenges were valuable because they pushed me to improve, stay creative, and remain true to myself. Today, I’m grateful for the community I’ve built and for the opportunities that have come from sharing my passions for travel, culture, and lifestyle.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a history and geography teacher based in Paris, but I don’t define myself solely by my profession. I’m part of a younger generation that values having multiple passions and interests, and for me, travel, culture, fashion, and content creation are just as important parts of who I am.
Alongside my teaching career, I have built a social media community where I share my travels, cultural discoveries, and lifestyle experiences. What I’m most proud of is having successfully balanced these different aspects of my life while staying authentic to myself.
What sets me apart is my perspective as both a teacher and a traveler. I want to show that geography is much more exciting than it can sometimes appear in textbooks. While books are important, there is something unique about experiencing places firsthand, meeting people from different cultures, and understanding how landscapes, cities, and societies shape the world around us.
Traveling has taught me lessons that no classroom alone could provide. It has helped me better understand history, geography, cultures, and global issues. Through my content, I hope to inspire others to see the world with curiosity and to realize that some of the most valuable learning experiences happen beyond the classroom.
More than anything, I want to show that it’s possible to have a fulfilling career while also embracing other passions. We are more than our job titles, and I think that message resonates with many people today.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe the content creation industry will continue to evolve significantly over the next 5 to 10 years. Audiences are increasingly looking for authenticity, meaningful stories, and genuine recommendations rather than perfectly curated content. People want to connect with real individuals and experiences they can relate to.
I also think that educational and informative content will become even more important. As someone who is both a teacher and a content creator, I see a growing interest in content that not only entertains but also helps people learn, discover new cultures, and better understand the world around them.
Artificial intelligence will undoubtedly play a larger role in content creation, helping creators with editing, research, and production. However, I believe that human experiences, personal perspectives, and authentic storytelling will remain the most valuable elements of successful content.
In the travel industry specifically, I expect travelers to seek more immersive and meaningful experiences. Rather than simply visiting famous landmarks, many people will want to understand the history, culture, and local way of life of the places they visit. Sustainability and responsible tourism will also continue to grow in importance.
Overall, I see the future of the industry becoming more personal, more educational, and more focused on genuine human connections.
