Hi Erika, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Tiny Tummies was born when a couple of babies couldn’t get enough of mom’s homemade baby food. Our baby food isn’t like any others. We’ve carefully created (and tested!) these recipes that our children have loved over the years and the best part? It’s completely preservative AND mess-free.
We do not add any sugars or salts to our recipes, it is completely all-natural, all-organic, pureed baby food. We are passionate about our pouches because we managed to include both fruits and veggies in the diet of our littles, and can rest assured their tummies are full of nutrients. We are local to Utah, and are adding seasonal flavors each season!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. I think the biggest issue for us is getting people to try our products.
They can easily buy cheaper options at the more convenient grocery store, but the beauty of our products is that they are all-natural, preservative-free, no sugars added, and made with love from recipes we’ve used for years.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
After working in the financial industry for over nine years, I left my corporate job to stay home with my boys. The recipes I’ve created in time are loved by my kids and others, and I want to share these tasty recipes with all!
I am most proud of being a mom and being able to multi-task as much as I do every day. What sets us apart from others is we are local to Utah. We don’t use any preservatives and we do not use any added sugars in our recipes. A lot of the veggies we use are grown and all our ingredients are organic.
What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I think as time continues, parents will see the importance of diet at a very young age, as soon as babies are big enough for solids. That’s where we come in! I think our diets will be closely watched as time continues and trends change.
