Today we’d like to introduce you to Ford Thunder Erickson.
Hi Ford, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I remember going to “career night” activities as a Boy Scout where we would local adults would tell us about their careers and how/why their careers could be a good fit for us in the future. All of those gracious adults seemed terrifyingly hopeless and depressed in their careers and it forever scarred me for adulthood.
So here I am as a 37-year-old creative trying to do everything in my power to not become an adult.
Currently, I am an actor, YouTuber, musician, Podcaster, Ultra Marathon runner, wilderness survival instructor, backcountry guide and Father of the Taco Bell Reformation movement (https://youtu.be/yKryaBjzAks).
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say my journey has been relatively smooth, BUT smooth like a milkshake. Consuming it is a very satisfying and enjoyable experience, however, if you consume it with too much vigor, your brain will begin to become frozen. This is very painful and often causes me to think I will soon die.
That is about as clear as I can possibly be.
I am very poor a lot and my Dad always tells me I should be a fireman.

Honestly, I feel like luck is 90% the source of all the awesome things that have happened to me! Without my lucky Furby, I assume I would just be lying in a ditch somewhere singing Nickelback songs.
