Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristin Fellows.
Hi Kristin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve spent my entire career in the health field, beginning in corporate wellness, cardiac rehabilitation, and health promotion. About eight years ago, I discovered health coaching and it completely changed the trajectory of my life and work.
My passion for preventive health was deeply personal. My father passed away from breast cancer at age 52, my mother struggled with obesity, and my sister battled addiction. Witnessing those challenges firsthand ignited my desire to help people create health proactively, rather than react to disease and disorder.
Along the way, I found a community of coaches who inspired me to grow in every area of my life. That experience solidified my desire to guide others toward a higher quality of life physically, mentally, and emotionally. My clients define what “healthy” looks like for them, and I walk beside them as a guide and accountability partner.
I’m continually learning, evolving, and striving to be a better version of myself so I can lead others to do the same. For me, health coaching isn’t just a career, it’s a calling.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing truly meaningful comes without its share of challenges. My own journey has included seasons of gut dysbiosis, eczema, bulged discs, broken ribs, and allergic reactions. Through these experiences (and the research I’ve done in pursuit of healing and wholeness) I’ve come to deeply appreciate that every body is unique. Each of us faces challenges that are mental, physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual.
Developing consistent daily habits and learning how to regulate my nervous system have been key to my personal healing and to the way I coach others.
Running a business as a solopreneur is also no small feat. It requires grit, resilience, and self-discipline. There are inevitable highs and lows, and as my business continues to grow and evolve, new challenges always emerge. But each one brings valuable lessons that strengthen both me and my mission to help others live with greater balance and vitality.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a holistic health coach specializing in helping women in perimenopause and menopause reclaim their energy, balance their hormones, and feel confident in their bodies again. I integrate nutrition, lifestyle, and mindset coaching to create lasting change, not quick fixes.
Much of my work focuses on teaching women how to work with their hormones instead of against them. Through education, habit building, and personalized support, I help clients understand what their bodies are communicating so they can feel strong, focused, and vibrant through every stage of life.
I’m most proud of watching my clients rediscover themselves in the moment when they realize they’re not “broken” or “stuck,” but simply need the right tools and guidance to thrive. That transformation, seeing women step into their power and vitality, is what drives me every day. When they experience this they become teachers and guides for their own families. The ripple effect is so life changing for everyone.
What sets me apart is my combination of professional expertise and personal experience. I’ve walked through my own health challenges and come out stronger, and I bring that empathy and real world understanding to every coaching relationship. My approach is science based yet deeply personal, blending education with encouragement and accountability. My goal is simple: to help women create sustainable, joyful health that supports the life they want to live and for them to share their journeys with others so they can learn and grow as well.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
No success story is ever a solo effort. I’ve been blessed with incredible mentors, colleagues, and supporters who have shaped both my business and my personal growth.
Early in my health coaching journey, I connected with a community of coaches who challenged me to think bigger and refine my approach. Their mentorship gave me the tools and confidence to step fully into my purpose. I’ve also learned from thought leaders whose work on women’s hormone health has deeply influenced how I educate and support my clients.
My clients themselves are a huge source of inspiration. Watching their courage, resilience, and willingness to change keeps me motivated and continually learning.
And of course, my family deserves credit as well.
