Today we’d like to introduce you to Lamia Beauty Lounge.
Hello Lamia Beauty Lounge, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We started out as clients and stylists. We then worked in the same building after LaTonya graduated from Cosmo School but did our own thing.
We would always say that we would end up working together, just putting it out there in the universe, and one day, LaTonya approached me (Damia) with a business venture I couldn’t resist and we opened our Salon (LaMia Beauty Lounge) together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
So far things have been pretty smooth. Small bumps when getting started but pretty smooth for the most part. It’s crazy how good things have come together for us.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are all about lifting people up, helping them understand their hair, getting them to be more comfortable in their own skin, and being confident in their hair whatever way they may want to wear it.
LaTonya specializes in all things Natural Hair and Damia specializes in hair extensions.
What do you think about happiness?
Coming to work and being able to do what we love. Making our clients smile and realize how beautiful they keep us happy.
