Today we’d like to introduce you to Olga Martinez

Hi Olga, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Growing up I didn’t wear makeup or lashes, my mom believes that if you don’t wear makeup when you are young you will look younger when you are older. It wasn’t till I was married and had my daughter that I tried lash extensions and fell in love with them. Lash extensions make your morning routine faster, you wake up ready to go, you feel ready and they boost your confidence. My lash tech would always tell me that I should look into doing lashes, what she loved about it was that she could make her own schedule, and spend more time with her daughter. It took me awhile to finally realize that I wanted to set my own schedule , spend more time with my kids, but what I wanted most was to break that family cycle that all we knew was to live pay check to pay check, I wanted financial freedom. That’s when I realized and enrolled in beauty school. Thank you to my husband for all his support and help while I attended school and to my kids for always pushing me. After completing 600 hrs I became a licensed esthetician. I started taking family and friends in my basement for services but soon to realize that if I wanted to grow and expand I needed a professional place. In 2022 I was blessed to find a suite in Murray where it became the home of Beutahful Aesthetics, I was officially a business owner! I’ve learned and grown so much and If someone back then would’ve told me that I would own my own business later down the road I would have never believed them. If someone tells you that owning a business is hard do believe them there is so much to do and learn and at times you feel like quitting but you have to keep going and always remember why you started, it is very much worth it at the end! It’s never to late to start something new, what doesn’t challenge you won’t help you grow! You’ve got this!!!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No smooth road. Struggles would be finding clientele, mastering the retention of lash extensions, content, finding other beauty professionals to but my lash products.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I offer lash extensions, facials, waxing and have my own product line of lash extensions and adhesive. I’m proud of everything I have achieved in being a business owner and for coming out with my own product line. What sets me apart from others is my kindness and that I’m willing to help you with any questions you might have lash or business related I’m always here hyping you up to keep going!
