Today we’d like to introduce you to Payton & Luciano Vieira.
Hi Payton & Luciano, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My husband (Luciano), has been working in the film industry since he was a young teenager, working on small projects, corporate events, music videos, and weddings. He’s always been very talented behind the camera and has a creative mind that makes every film unique and special for every client.
I’ve always loved film and photography, and in high school, I took every class I could to learn more about it. Even more so, I love weddings and meeting new people. Our passions and strengths work so well together to offer the best videography and client support. We were both tired of our nine to five jobs, and building other people’s dreams, that we worked so hard on making our business something we could make a living off of.
We both have never felt more freedom and joy in doing what we love.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Yes and no. It was a rough start trying to find out where we fit in the wedding industry and knowing our worth. We had to undercharge for our packages in order to build our portfolio and prove what quality videos we can provide.
Of course, that comes along with financial struggles and figuring out how to cut costs. The good and bad times are only helping us grow individually, together, and as business owners!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We take pride in being unique in our film style. We like to document the actual events and moments on a wedding day, rather than with posed shots and making things look surreal. We want people to be able to truly relive their day and to watch all the little moments that they may have not seen happen.
We focus on the couple’s relationship, music taste, and wedding style, to truly get to know them as people and portray all the good things in their videos.
We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
We do over 50 weddings per year. We travel all over the U.S. together to film weddings. We’ve been all over the country and are even headed to Hawaii this winter to film a wedding. While traveling can be exhausting to do every weekend, it’s so fun and takes us to places we would’ve never thought to travel to.
