We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I LOVE hiking! Being out in the mountains with no cell service is truly refreshing & reenergizing for me
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Sheralyn Bennett, Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway. I work with my husband Chris. We both have our general contractor’s licenses as well. We have remodeled homes for ourselves & for clients. We both were born & raised in Utah & love it here.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I remember having an epiphany when I was younger that I could truly do whatever I wanted, no one wa sin charge of me but myself. And I just thought that was so neat, and a little scary, ha 🙂
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Life will be so much better & school is just a blip in the grand scheme of things. I took getting straight As way too seriously & wish I had taken time to have more fun 🙂
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. What you see is what you get. I am very down to earth & am the same person in public & solo.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What are you doing today that won’t pay off for 7–10 years?
Buying & managing rental properties 🙂 It will be awesome to have paid off rentals when we are older.
