Meet Joshua Tanu

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joshua Tanu.

Joshua, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I made a name for myself within the nightlife/music industry in Seattle and up until a couple of months ago decided to transplant to SLC.

My intentions were to expand my network and grow within my fields by working alongside a mentor of mine.

Getting hands-on experience and new challenges in an unknown land got my blood flowing and now I am here making it all come to fruition.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth? Yes! Other than the abundance of snow I was greeted with and the slight mental games I faced with being away from home everything is everything.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in setting the vibe right. Whether that be through music, curating an experience through parties, or a simple greeting. I’m known for music and programming/Delivering some of the livest experiences people have been to.

I’m most proud of the network of like-minded and also inverted minds with me with whom I have built respected relations. I set myself apart, and love to do things that I truly love no more no less. Let’s just say you’d have to be around me short enough for you to be the judge to understand.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and are any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
It really reshaped some of my values such as keeping my peace and to continue pushing forward no matter what circumstance you or the world is dealing with.
