Meet Travis Arrington of White Bison Well-being

Today we’d like to introduce you to Travis Arrington.

Hi Travis, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It’s funny but true – White Bison Well-being was born from watching The Greatest Showman and a greeting card at a grocery store!

The Greatest Showman gave us the push to action we needed to chase our dreams. We both attended grad school in South Carolina where Amanda earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy and I earned my Doctorate of Chiropractic.

Through school and additional advanced training in behavioral health and brain development, it became obvious that our careers would intertwine and we could offer powerful solutions together.

One day at the grocery store, I came across a greeting card that told of an ancient prophecy of the white bison calf woman who brought unity, hope, peace and the promise of abundance to the people. That card connected with both of us for some reason and we decided to name our business White Bison Well-being to symbolize facing our storms head on like a bison while knowing that prayers are being answered and abundance is coming.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Start-ups are a rollercoaster of excitement and thrill while managing the good and unexpected with positivity and confidence that it will work out. Our biggest challenge right now is that it has taken much longer to get into our office space than expected. Lease negotiations and the buildout has pushed our opening date back several months. We have pivoted in the meantime to still be able to see clients in a local dental lab. Being quick on your feet and knowing how to serve clients has been crucial to keep us moving forward.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about White Bison Well-being?
I help people with mental health conditions, headaches/migraines, back and neck pain, neurodivergent behavioral conditions and brain function optimization.

I offer onsite corporate well-being packages, and individual and family chiropractic care at our office in Sandy, UT.

Amanda offers family therapy and helps people heal relationships and trauma and be at peace in their body. She’s trained in EMDR and trauma informed yoga. She will offer free weekly yoga classes when the office is officially open!
